Where are you from?

"Where are you from?"

Some people find this question easy to answer but I find it difficult because my family moved around England a lot when I was growing up. I was born in Newcastle, in the north of England, then when I was 3 years old we moved to the south of England, to a small town called Romsey. I liked Romsey - I learned to ride a bicycle there, and I rode all over town with my brother. When I was 8 we moved again, back up north, to Sunderland. I played computer games and made radio controlled model cars when I lived in Sunderland. Next, we moved to the countryside near Durham (another city in the north of England). I loved the countryside, and I enjoyed flying radio controlled model aeroplanes from the mountaintops there. Then we moved to Bristol for a year. Bristol is in the south-west of England. Then I left home and went to university in Durham. I have also lived in London for a few years. So you can see I am from many different places in England.
